Pôle Moderniste Démocratique

Sana is a member of the PDM Party or Pôle Moderniste Démocratique, a coalition of four political parties created to participate in the Tunisian Constituent Assembly election of October 2011. The PDM is a proponent of a clear separation of religion and state, gender equality and the abolition of the death penalty. Sana Ouechtata is a teacher in public law at Carthage University. She has a Phd in International Law.
