Former Minister in the Jordanian government
Dr. Sabri A. Rbeihat is former Minister of Political Development and of Parliamentary Affairs. He is the president and founder of the South-North Center for Dialogue and Development. He has served as consultant to the Office of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Disability and has spoken extensively around the world on democracy, civil society and human rights. Dr Rbeihat holds a Bachelor in Education and Sociology from the University of Jordan and Masters degrees in Public Administration, Demography, and Criminology and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
