Eric Trager is the Next Generation Fellow at The Washington Institute. His focus is on Egypt. He was in the country during the 2011 anti Mubarak protests and has written and given commentary to publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, the Atlantic, and the New Republic. Eric lived in Egypt from 2006-2007 where he studied for an M.A. in Arabic studies at the American University in Cairo. He graduated from Harvard with a degree in Government Studies.
