Dr. Abdel Monem Said Aly is the Director of Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies. The Cairo based centre is on of the regions most well-known security and international affairs think tanks.
Dr. Abdel Monem Said Aly is a founder of the Egyptian Peace Movement and the International Alliance for Arab-Israeli Peace. Throughout his career he has written extensively about politics and security in the Arab world and Middle East. More recently he has given commentary to regional and international media on the future of Arab states in the wake of the 2011 uprisings.
