Ennahdha Party
Amel Azzouz is a leading female politician in Tunisia. She is a Deputy in the Constituent Assembly and a member of the Consultative (Shura) Council. Ms Azzouz is also a member of the political bureau of her party, Ennahdha. Her background is in Education and before becoming involved in politics, she worked in secondary schools teaching English. Amel was a student activist at university where she studied English Language and Literature.
